The accommodation was spacious and clean, with well-kept shared toilets and showers. The location was perfect for those wanting to explore the Soederaesen Naturreservat, with the visitor center and trails just a stone's throw away. It was also great to have a supermarket within walking distance, allowing for the option of preparing meals in the large kitchen area provided.
The hostel appeared a bit run down up close, which was a disappointment. the atmosphere created by the host and other residents was somewhat uncomfortable, leading to a feeling of not being very welcome during the stay.

The natural surroundings of the hotel were really impressive, perfect for hiking and connecting with nature. the breakfast was lovely, I felt like there was quite a bit of variety. we could grab food to bring with us for our daily excursions at the nearby supermarket.
We arrived on the day before Easter and the hotel was not prepared for the influx of holiday guests. the room was dirty and poorly maintained, and there was only one towel for two people.
